# Analytics and tracking

SEO and AI visibility

To know whether your SEO works you need numbers: visits, where they come from, what people search for, and which visits end in an order. GrandNode includes widgets for the common tools and its own search statistics.

### Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel

Both are widget plugins listed under **Plugins → Widgets** (see [Widgets](https://grandnode.com/content-widgets)).

1. Activate **Google Analytics** (or **Facebook Pixel**) with **Edit → Is active**.
2. Open its configuration and enter your measurement ID (or pixel ID). Settings can differ per store.
3. Check in the tool's real-time view that visits arrive.

The widgets send page views and e-commerce events such as orders, so you can see revenue by traffic source.

### Cookie consent

In the EU and many other places, tracking cookies need the visitor's consent. Turn on **Display cookie information** in the general settings for the cookie bar, and make sure tracking runs only after consent - the shipped tracking widgets respect the visitor's choice.

### What customers search for

With **Save search autocomplete keywords** on in the catalog settings, the most popular search terms appear under **Dashboard → Statistics**. Searches without results show missing products, missing synonyms in descriptions, or naming customers use and you do not.

### Search engines' own tools

- **Google Search Console** and **Bing Webmaster Tools**: verify the store (paste their meta tag into **Custom head** in the SEO settings), submit `sitemap.xml`, and watch indexing, queries and structured data errors.
- **Google Merchant Center**: free product listings use your structured data and a product feed.
