Conditions of use

1. Who we are

grandnode.com (the "Website") is operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS], Poland, entered in [REGISTER, e.g. the National Court Register (KRS) under no. ...], NIP (VAT ID): [NIP], REGON: [REGON] ("GrandNode", "we", "us"). Contact: support@grandnode.com.

2. Scope

These conditions apply to the use of the Website and to orders placed through it for:

  • GrandNode Official - a subscription service with long-term support (LTS) releases, backported security fixes, private vulnerability notices, signed builds and a compliance pack;
  • GrandNode Certified Store - a review of a GrandNode store against the published checklist;
  • add-ons - plugins such as GrandNode AI Visibility, GrandNode Imports and GrandNode Webhooks, with 12 months of updates and support;
  • free sign-ups and requests - early-access sign-ups and requests for a migration quote.

Because of the nature of these services, orders are addressed to businesses (entrepreneurs) only. By placing an order you confirm that you act for your business or profession.

3. GrandNode is open source

The GrandNode platform is free software licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0. Nothing in these conditions limits the rights the GPL gives you to use, study, modify and share the GrandNode source code. What you pay for is a service - timely fixes, notices, signed builds, reviews and support - not permission to use the code.

4. Your account

Orders, downloads and early-access sign-ups need an account. Keep your login details private and the information in your account accurate. You are responsible for what is done through your account.

5. Orders, prices and payment

  • Prices are shown in US dollars and are net prices; VAT is added where the law requires it.
  • A contract is concluded when your payment is confirmed. We send the confirmation and the invoice to the e-mail address in your account.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe or Braintree (PayPal). We do not receive or store your card details.

6. GrandNode Official

  • A plan runs for 12 months, or 24 months for a two-year plan, and covers the number of production installations stated for the plan (Business: up to 3; Agency: stores of the agency's clients).
  • An LTS release receives security fixes for 24 months from its release (its lifecycle). Your plan gives you access to LTS releases for as long as the plan runs.
  • Founding customer offer: when you buy before the first LTS release is published, your plan period starts on the day that release is published, not on the day of purchase.
  • Official does not include hours of support, custom development or writing plugins for you.
  • Security fixes for the latest public version of GrandNode are always published for everyone; Official adds backports to LTS releases and earlier notice.

7. GrandNode Certified Store

  • You give us the address of your store and a read-only administrator account for the time of the review. We send the report within 10 business days of receiving access. We ask you to remove the account after the review.
  • A store that passes receives a badge and an entry in the public register for 12 months. A store that does not pass receives a list of fixes and one free re-check within 30 days.
  • The store must run a supported version of GrandNode (the latest Community release or an Official LTS release).
  • What certification is not: it is a point-in-time review against the published checklist. It is not a guarantee against security incidents and not a certificate of legal compliance (for example with GDPR or the European Accessibility Act).
  • We may withdraw the badge if the store no longer meets the checklist or the badge is used for a store that was not reviewed.
  • While reviewing, we may see personal data your store holds. We process it only to perform the review, under the data processing terms in section 13.

8. Add-ons

  • An add-on is bought per store and includes 12 months of updates and support from the purchase. It keeps working after that period; renewal brings further updates.
  • Add-ons are delivered as downloads in your account at My account › Downloadable products.
  • Pre-orders: an add-on marked "Coming soon" or "Pre-order" can be bought before release. Its 12-month period starts on the day it is released. [PROPOSAL - confirm: "If it is not released within 6 months after the announced date, you may ask for a full refund."]

9. Early access and migration quotes

Early-access sign-ups are free and create no obligation for either side. A migration quote request is free; a migration is carried out only under a separate quote you accept. The quote covers moving data; plugins, integrations and theme work are not included unless the quote says so.

10. Refunds

As the services are provided to businesses, the consumer right of withdrawal does not apply. A downloaded add-on or a started service is not refundable, except where these conditions or the law say otherwise. If a service cannot be delivered for reasons on our side, we refund the price paid for the part not delivered.

11. Liability

We provide the software and services with due care. To the extent the law allows, our total liability under a contract is limited to the price you paid under it in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profits or indirect damage. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, including for damage caused intentionally.

12. Misuse and termination

We may suspend or end a service if it is used in material breach of these conditions - for example, Official builds or add-on downloads shared beyond the plan's scope, or a certification badge shown for a store that was not reviewed. Rights you have under the GPL are not affected.

13. Personal data

How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy. Where we process personal data on your behalf (for example during a certification review or a migration), we act as your processor under [DATA PROCESSING AGREEMENT - link or annex].

14. The Website

Texts, graphics and the design of the Website belong to us or are used with permission; the GrandNode name and logo are our trademarks. The documentation and code samples on the Website may be used to build and run GrandNode stores. Do not use the Website in a way that disrupts it or tries to access data you are not entitled to.

15. Changes and law

We may change these conditions; the version in force on the day of your order applies to that order. Polish law applies. Disputes are settled by the court competent for our registered office.
