resturns 404 not found

Hello,
Documentation with front API is outdated.
We will update it ASAP.
If you want to use Front API, you can go to swagger and select FRONTEND Api, the you will find all available methods.

Can you point me to the new end point to reach homepage cataloge items?
I have chechcked frontend swagger docs but could'nt find it.

Homepage Products is a component and is not supported by the current API. The best approach would be to create a new plugin and copy the 'ComponentController' from version 2.0
