running grandnode Source on Visual studio,

Hi i recently downloaded Visual studio 2017 and downloaded all necessary asp.net and .net core sdks and runtimes, i was able to run some other .net solutions but when i try grandnode i get this error "The asp.net core module which is required to host asp.net projects in IIS is not found, try repairing  Visual studio"
I did try repair for about 3times now yet nothing has changed. Any help

Hi,

ASP.NET Core module is installed separately to SDKs. Please look at the Microsoft official documentation here.

Hello there,

I run grand node in visual studio and after run require connection string to install grandnode. Please tell about connection string for mangodb .

Hello,

If you want, you can install GrandNode without connection string, just fill the required fields. You can use the host name and database name. Usually, if you install MongoDB locally, it will be a localhost:27017 and name your datbaase. And that's all.
