I keep getting error Setup failed: An exception occurred while receiving a message from the server. Unable to read data from the transport connection: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

I gave write permissions to folder also it is creating all the tables in mongo.. but after lot of spinning loader it gives me above error .. which i am not sure what is wrong

Can you share more details about your environment? It's local or i.e Azure? Linux or Windows? Which version of GrandNode do you try to install? Have you followed our installation guide?

I am using local environment and on windows 10 pc.. mongodb is on mlab.com (azure)

Free accounts on mlab has limits and it can cause the problems. Have you tried to use Mongo installed locally?
