Is it possible to use GrandNode as rental management system? For example apartments rental. I know there is rental feature, but my customer would like to create rental product without recurring payment. What I have notice, there is no such a possibility. If set item as rental, it require to have recurring payment. Am I missing something? Is there any walk around?

Please use the Reservation type of product. It will solve your problems, I hope.

I hope, because I didn't know if reservation product will satisfy you. In our case, when we were planning it, it worked :)

In the case of intervals, by design, we've created three types of intervals, probably, I'm not a programmer, so I should talk with dev team, it's possible to create more interval types, which will be longer than day.

As developer you can also create such feature and create a PR on GitHub.
