Hi there,
We have 2 questions, kindly reply us asap.
1) Kindly tell us, how to configure multi store in local host (local machine) for testing purpose ?
2) Is it possible to make different store owners, who can manage their stores and cannot see each other products from their admin panel. but we can manage them all from one main admin panel ? We want to give different store to different owners but want to manage them all from one main admin panel. Is there any role who could do this ?
Multi store configuration on localhost

Hi,
1. Add the same localhost address in few stores and then enable following setting - commonsettings.allowtoselectstore. You can find it in All settings section. It will allow you to select different stores from the dropdown list. Please remember also about the - /Admin/Setting/Catalog and Performance tab - Ignore "limit per store" rules (sitewide) - this setting should be turned off.
2. Sure, it's customer role called Staff. If you want to limit products to particular manager, you have to assign them to single store. If any product will be assigned to more than one store, it will be visible by few managers and they won't be able to edit products. Of course the main administrator of the store will be able to manage them without any problems.

Hi Patryk,
Thanks for your response,
1) Do we need to add something in windows hosts file ? Please tell if anything to add
2) Do we need to add something in our .vs file ? Please tell if anything to add
3) Ports of the store will different or same with localhost ?
Note: It would be appreciated, if you add some visuals like screenshots or video for this configuration so everybody get the point easily. Because its very important part of the system

Hi Patryk,
I created a root domain named as mydokan.com . And created two store url like udemy,mydokan.com and kibria.mydokan.com. And then I assigned two separate users for this two store. But unfortunately any user can able to login any store with their username and password. Even the manager of udemy can login to kibria store and also able to view all products, categories of another store. Even, one store manager can delete all products of another store.
I disable this setting from admin. "Admin panel -> Configuration -> Settings -> Catalog settings -> Performance tab. Ignore "limit per store" rules (sitewide) "
