Vendors actions

Hi,

For vendors, what can they do on orders ? Is it possible to let them validate shipping status ? Could they see only their products and manage their shipping ?

Hello Laurent,

Yes, vendors manage their products, so they are responsible for their products shipments. For example, if I order 3 products from 3 different vendors, each vendor will see 1 product on order and will be able to make shipment for this product.

Ok but how they can change the status shipping for their product. Only Staff can change it. How vendor can manage and track their shipping ?

In vendor session, I can only read an order and shipments are always empty.

If you add shipping as a vendor, you can set the delivered and sent statuses. I don't know what do you mean by change status? Or maybe do you talk about order status?

Make an order, go to admin panel, edit the order, jump to Billing & Shipping. Scroll down, click the add shipment button. You will create shipment. Then edit it and you will see two buttons. Set as shipped, set as delivered.

Ok thanks, but from my vendor account, it is impossible to set shipped ou delivred. In Tab "Shipments", from vendor account shipments are empty.
Only Admin can set shipment to shipped or delivered ?

Ok add shipment button is very low under the table shipment :) It's ok very sorry
