Dear Patryk,

When uploading the product image , is there any built-in crop feature, so that it will be easy for the vendor to upload any image according to the standard size set by admin

Hi,

Do you want to automatically crop images or manually by each vendor?
Best regards,

Ideally, the vendor should have a cropping tool and the height and width will be a settings set by admin.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Whenever a Vendor click to upload the image, a cropping tool pops-up and image gets added after cropping according to the predefined size standards.

Unfortunately, we do not have the built-in tool you are talking about.

The system automatically reduces the size of thumbnail according to settings that you have in Admin panel -> Configuration -> Settings -> Media Settings, to reduce the size of thumbnails. However, it's not possible to show a popup with a cropping tool or something similar. If you have a problem with the images appearance on the front end, according to different sizes of pictures uploaded by the vendor, you can manage them in CSS on the frontend.

The problem is that, if the vendor uploads a low quality image, or an image with inappropriate background, the site will look ugly. I believe most of multi-vendor site might  have a process of admin approval to maintain the unique look and feel of the website.

Also one quick clarification, does the system has a version history on products section, where i can revert back to the previous edit?

I understand your point of view, however, at this moment, I can only recommend asking vendors for good quality pictures. I think that vendors also want good visibility in your store and they will add the best photos themselves.

No, it doesn't have the possibility to revert changes.
