Hello, I have such a question in the basket, there are two items when placing an order
discount coupon and gift card.
I found a gift card to create, but I do not see the option of creating a discount coupon in this store.
Where can I find it?

greetings

Hi,

Each kind of discount can be found in the Admin panel -> Promotions -> Discounts.
Best regards,

Hello, this is not a promotion (rebate), it is a completely different rebate assigned to a given product or category, and I am asking for a typical rebate coupon, as in every single store generated automatic series (strings) or manually entered by the customer, where when creating it, we mark or it is to be used once or multiple times in the number of pieces ... working with promotions in the store or not.
Percentage or amount for free shipping, etc. are discount coupons
How do you solve this store, then the discounts for customers for subscribing to the newsletter? in each store the customer receives such a discount coupon and here how?

Okey, I dug up the discount codes. I'm blind already ... It seems to be all right, but what I have reservations about is that the store seems to have Polish, but half of the things are not translated in discounts. Discount limitation - not translated, you don't know what to choose.
Requirements tab> Condition type - no translations.

Patrick, where can I find a description of the Discounts? I try to create variants but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

What should be done (set up a discount) so that, for example, you can set that the customer buying 2 HTC One Mini Blue products will receive 3 for free So buy 3 pay for two :)
It is very confusing :(

Out of the box, it's not possible to generate this kind of discount. You can do it with the free, external plugin. You can get it from our marketplace here.. After successful installation, you will be able to create a new discount, with the following settings:

Then in the shopping cart, you will see that each third element from the assigned category will be free.

Best regards,
Patryk

Thanks, I installed it, but unfortunately I don't know how to configure it correctly to make it work as it should.
Generally, I will ask the question as a store developer, you should have instructions for the entire store. The more that you advertise that it is a store for demanding users and at the moment it is more of a problem with it than simplicity and functionality.

Will I find an instruction somewhere that explains each rebate model, how it works etc?

best regards

The working configuration is visible on the screenshot that I've sent in the previous post. You can just change the type of assignment from category to manufacturer for example.

Hello, yes, I know, I did it with the department, but unfortunately this discount system is poor. It does not work as it should, both the one straight from the package and the one installed (Buy 2 items and get 1 for free)
I currently have a promotion department in my shop in which I have:
- Discount Purchases (generated codes that I assign generally, or to products or categories. With active date and fixed amount or percentage, or free shipping.)
- Freebies (thanks to this I can add an item to a given product or products for free or for a specific amount. I can also add products after exceeding the purchase amount)
- Promotions (which consist of turning on a given product with the option of an amount or percentage discount with the date from when it is to start until when)
- Sale
- Product of the day (there is a calendar where I can plan what product and when and with what discount to start by itself)
These are the basic things in my current store that are not here ...
the discount system is very confusing setting something is a mecca, I understand that you design a store and try to do it your best. It's okay because it's cool and has a lot of possibilities, but for God's sake, consult the sellers, there is nothing worse to do in a store without knowing what the real sale looks like from the other side. I am willing to even test something, I'm also a Pole and I always support my own in creating. I am happy to share my comments. I'm not writing this to spite you or point out your mistakes, but rather to help you create a great trading platform.
40% of your store (system) will be rebuilt because it is not suitable for basic sale in Poland. I already commissioned this to the programmer. It will have a lot of work to both improve what is already there and add a lot of new plugins.
The shipping system also calls for vengeance to heaven ...

I will ask you Patryk a question
If you sell a product that cannot be shipped to Norway, but 10 other products, how can you solve the problem that the store does not allow someone from Norway to buy the product, but the remaining product does?

best regards
and remember I am not an enemy but a friend

Hello Marcin,

Marcin, from my point of view, if a store doesn't support your current scenarios, it doesn't mean it's poor. In general, GrandNode has a very advanced discount system, and above all, a literally unlimited field for extending it with plugins when predefined scenarios are not enough. As you can see in the showcase tab, there is plenty of stores based in Poland, and we haven't received feedback that they had to be rebuilt due to the structure of the application. GrandNode is designed for medium and large enterprises, that appreciate the range of functionality and customization possibilities. To be honest, this is how open-source works, it is not a SaaS where you pay a monthly subscription and you require certain functionalities because you (somehow) sponsor them with a subscription. In open-source, you get a free, advanced platform that can be developed in whatever you want direction by your developer.

Cheers
Best regards,
Patryk
